Federal University Dutse Seeks Police Support To Tackle Cultism On Campus

The Federal University Dutse, FUD, has sought the support of the Jigawa State Police Command to combat emerging cultism and anti-social behaviour on campus, to ensure a safe academic environment.

The university said the partnership with security agencies is aimed at strengthening campus security, deterring criminal activities, and protecting students and staff.

Authorities noted that early intervention is key to preventing cult-related activities from taking root, and called for increased police patrols, intelligence sharing, and awareness campaigns within and around the university community.
