NSUK Commences Silver Jubilee and 8th Combined Convocation with Easter Interdenominational Service

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), officially launched its landmark 25th-anniversary celebrations and 8th Combined Convocation Ceremony on Sunday, 5th April 2026, with a spiritually significant Interdenominational Church Service.

The service, held at the Chapel of Salvation on the University’s Main Campus, brought together the Christian community and university leadership for a session of thanksgiving and collective prayer, setting a hopeful tone for the week-long festivities.

Representing the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation, and Linkages), Associate Professor K’tso Nghargbu, paid tribute to the institution's leadership heritage. He expressed profound gratitude to both past and present Vice-Chancellors whose contributions have been instrumental to NSUK’s growth over the last quarter-century.

Highlighting the symbolism of the Easter season, Prof. Nghargbu remarked that the celebration represents a period of renewal, expressing optimism that the Silver Jubilee would usher in a "renewed spirit of unity" and propel the University toward global excellence.
