Redeemers University Graduate, Chisom Stephanie Ezeihuaku, Bags First Class In Economics With 4.70 CGPA

Chisom Stephanie Ezeihuaku has graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics with First Class Honours from Redeemer’s University, Nigeria, finishing with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 4.70 out of 5.00.

Her achievement reflects years of discipline, sacrifice, resilience, and consistent hard work.

When Chisom gained admission into the University, she described her initial emotion as fear rather than excitement. It was her first time away from home, and she was filled with uncertainty.  

She made a personal commitment to give her best, regardless of the challenges. She studied for at least six hours daily, even when tired, overwhelmed, or unwell. She approached every presentation, group project, and assignment with seriousness, sometimes carrying extra workload to protect her grades.

She recalled sleepless nights, moments of breakdown, and weeks sustained by sheer willpower, but she kept going.

Beyond the classroom, Chisom contributed to her academic community. She tutored over 40 students in Econometrics, taught EViews for research projects, supported data analysis projects, drafted weekly economic briefings, and assisted students with data sourcing.  

She also served on both the Academic and Welfare Committees.

Her journey highlights the dedication often behind academic excellence, including the sacrifices, difficult days, and countless hours of preparation that are not always visible.

Redeemer’s University and well-wishers have celebrated her as a trailblazer whose story serves as inspiration to other students.
