Skyline University Nigeria has taken a step toward deepening industry-academia collaboration as its Pro-Chancellor, Mr Nitin Anand, alongside the Director of Marketing and Media Communications, Mr Abubakar Sadiq Ismail, visited Engr. Rabiu Aliyu Garo, Director of Syrol Group and Managing Director/CEO of Syrol Homes.
The meeting focused on exploring structured student internship opportunities and the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between both institutions.
The proposed partnership is designed to provide students with practical industry experience, hands-on skills development and greater professional exposure, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world industry requirements.
Speaking during the visit, both parties emphasised the importance of such collaborations in preparing students for the competitive job market and fostering innovation through knowledge exchange.
The initiative aligns with Skyline University Nigeria's commitment to producing graduates who are not only academically sound but also industry-ready and entrepreneurial.
If formalised, the MoU with Syrol Group is expected to open doors for internship placements, joint projects, mentorship and potential employment opportunities for students, particularly in fields related to construction, real estate, management and business development.
