UCH Ibadan CMD Approves Appointment of New Head for HIMD

The Chief Medical Director of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, has approved the appointment of Mrs. Ogunade Adeyinka Ruth as the new Head of the Health Information Management Department.

The appointment follows the mandatory retirement of Mrs. Jumoke Olusola Ezekiel, Deputy Director (Health Records) / Head, Health Information Management Department, from the service of the hospital with effect from October 10, 2026. Mrs. Ogunade's appointment takes retrospective effect from October 11, 2026.

As Head of the Health Information Management Department, Mrs. Ogunade is expected to ensure proper coordination of the tripartite functions of the hospital, which are training, research and services, as may be required from her department. She is also required to involve hospital management in all her official activities.

Prof. Otegbayo congratulated Mrs. Ogunade and wished her success in her new assignment.
