The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has signed three strategic partnership agreements with private organisations aimed at establishing a National Reference Laboratory, developing an integrated training farm and expanding digital learning opportunities.

The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has signed three strategic partnership agreements with private organisations aimed at establishing a National Reference Laboratory, developing an integrated training farm and expanding digital learning opportunities.

The Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed on Monday by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, on behalf of the university with Supply Chain Research and Innovation Hub Limited, JIS Agro Farm and EduTech Advanced Business Technologies Limited.

Professor Fawehinmi said the partnerships would facilitate the establishment of a National Reference Laboratory on the university's campus, provide students with practical agricultural training through an integrated farm and enhance digital learning opportunities for both students and staff through the Centre for Distance Learning.

According to the Vice-Chancellor, the collaborations are expected to strengthen the university's academic and research capacity while promoting innovation, skills development and technology-driven education.
