The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, felicitates with the University of Maiduguri Muslim Ummah on this year's Eid celebration. 

This Eid-el-Fitr is more than a celebration; it is a reflection of our collective resilience. Having observed thirty days of spiritual devotion and self-discipline during the holy month of Ramadan, we must now carry these virtues forward into our academic and professional pursuits.

In light of recent events in the metropolis, the Vice-Chancellor urges every member of this community to celebrate with a sense of vigilance and moderation. While we rejoice, let us remain our "brother’s keeper" by prioritizing safety and adhering to security advisories.
