UNIPORT, Access Bank Strengthen Partnership

The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) is set to deepen its partnership with Access Bank Plc, with a renewed focus on collaborations that support the university's developmental vision and enhance the welfare of the university community.

The commitment was reaffirmed on Monday, September 21, 2026, when the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Chike Princewill, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration and Advancement, Prof. Chukwudi Onyeaso, received a delegation from Access Bank led by its Regional Director, South and South-East, Mr. Oluropo Olanrewaju, during a courtesy visit.

Mr. Olanrewaju reaffirmed the bank's commitment to supporting the university's vision and exploring additional areas of collaboration with the university community.

He also congratulated Prof. Chike Princewill on his appointment as the 10th Vice-Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt.

Responding, Prof. Onyeaso appreciated Access Bank for its continued partnership with the university and expressed the institution's readiness to strengthen the existing relationship towards a stronger and mutually beneficial partnership.
