UNIPORT SUG Suspends Sporting Activities During Examination Period

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has announced the suspension of all sporting activities across faculties and departments in view of the ongoing examination period.

According to a directive signed by the SUG Director of Sports, Comrade Daniel Duke, all sporting activities are to remain suspended until the conclusion of the examinations.

The directive is aimed at giving students adequate time and a conducive environment to prepare for and participate in their examinations.

All concerned students and sporting groups have been advised to comply with the directive.

The SUG further stated that activities carried out in disregard of the suspension would be addressed in line with relevant regulations.
