Igbinedion Education Centre Expels Student Over Bullying and Assault Incident

The management of Igbinedion Education Centre has taken decisive action following the circulation of a viral video depicting serious physical assault and bullying within the school community.

Describing the behavior in the footage as “deeply disturbing,” the school reiterated its zero-tolerance policy against:

• Bullying and physical assault
• Cultism and intimidation
• Harassment and all forms of violence

After conducting an internal investigation, the school expelled the students responsible with immediate effect, emphasizing that such conduct will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

The institution is also providing support to the affected students and their families and has reported the matter to the relevant authorities. As the individuals involved are minors, the school confirmed full cooperation with legal officials.

“Our priority remains the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of every student,” the management stated, underlining its commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.
