University of Abuja Showcases Four TETFund-Funded Research Projects
The University of Abuja has showcased four TETFund-sponsored research projects at a one-day TETFund National Research Fund (NRF) Grant Close-Out and Dissemination Stakeholders' Meeting held at the institution.
The University of Abuja has showcased four TETFund-sponsored research projects at a one-day TETFund National Research Fund (NRF) Grant Close-Out and Dissemination Stakeholders' Meeting held at the institution.

The research projects were presented by Principal Investigators from the University: Professor Oyinlola Olaniyi, Professor Mabel Evwierhoma, Professor Samson Abalaka and Dr. Eno Ekop. Their studies focused on cleaner cooking technology, illegal migration, environmental pollution caused by artisanal mining and paediatric asthma, respectively.
Speaking at the event, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, described the dissemination meeting as evidence of how academic research can be translated into practical solutions that address national development challenges.

The Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), Arc. Sonny Sylva Echono, represented by Dr. Comfort Ochepo, commended the researchers for successfully completing their projects. He also encouraged academics to take advantage of future National Research Fund opportunities by adhering strictly to the programme's application guidelines.
