University of Ibadan College of Medicine Holds Induction Ceremony for Medical Laboratory Science Graduands

The College of Medicine, University of Ibadan (UI), has inducted the Class of 2025 into the Medical Laboratory Science profession at a ceremony held recently.

Speaking at the event, the Provost of the College, Professor Temidayo Ogundiran, congratulated the new professionals and urged them to uphold the core values of integrity, honesty, and service. He emphasized the importance of applying their knowledge responsibly in the practice of Medical Laboratory Science.

Also addressing the gathering, the Chief Medical Director of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Professor Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, praised the graduands for their hard work and commitment. He underscored the indispensable role of Medical Laboratory Scientists in healthcare, particularly in diagnosis and treatment.
