Yobe State Scholarship Board Announces Disbursement Schedule for Damaturu, Potiskum, and Nguru Zones

The Yobe State Scholarship Board (YSSB) has announced the commencement of the scholarship and bursary payment exercise for successfully verified applicants. The payments are scheduled to begin this week for students across several institutions in three different zones of the state. 

The exercise kicks off tomorrow, December 16, 2025, for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu, and the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Damaturu study center.

The Board, through its Public Relations Officer Tijjani Chiroma, assured beneficiaries that it would continue to provide updates on the progress and specific schedules for each zone. 

For any enquiries or further clarification, applicants are advised to contact the leadership of the National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS) at their respective institutions or the office of the Director of Students Affairs at the YSSB.
