Yobe State Scholarship Board Announces Schedule for Domestic Scholarship Payments

The Yobe State Scholarship Board (YSSB) has released a detailed schedule for the disbursement of domestic scholarships and bursaries to successful applicants across three major zones within the state.

The payment exercise is set to commence today, December 16, 2025, and will run through the end of the month in a phased approach to ensure efficient distribution to students from various institutions.

Payments for students of the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu and the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Damaturu Study Centre, began on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. The exercise is taking place at the ETF Auditorium, Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, and will conclude on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Beneficiaries in the Nguru and Gashua Zones will receive their payments starting Monday, December 22, 2025, until Saturday, December 27, 2025, with a possible break anticipated during the Christmas public holidays on December 24th and 25th.

The Board encouraged beneficiaries seeking more information to contact the NUYOSS leadership within their respective institutions or the Office of the Director of Students Affairs at the YSSB headquarters.
