Zamfara Governor Seeks Partnership with Ahmadu Bello University

The Governor of Zamfara State, His Excellency Dauda Lawal, has expressed his administration's willingness to partner with Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in the areas of education, agriculture, and capacity building.

The Governor made this known when he received the Vice-Chancellor of ABU, Prof Adamu Ahmed, and other management staff at the Government House on October 31, 2025.

Governor Lawal, an alumnus of ABU, praised the university as "one of the best schools in the world" and expressed his gratitude for the quality of education he received. He emphasized the importance of partnership and collaboration, stating that the state would benefit from ABU's expertise and resources.
