ABU First-Class Computer Science Graduate and Student Leader Raises the Bar

Aminu Abubakar Harisu, an indigene of Kiyawa Local Government Area, Jigawa State, has emerged as one of the standout graduates of the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Class of 2025.

Aminu achieved a First-Class Honours degree in Computer Science, joining an elite group of tech-driven scholars at the 2026 Convocation Ceremony. His academic success is matched by a distinguished track record in student leadership and advocacy.

Before his academic milestone, Aminu served as the Speaker of the National Association of Jigawa State Students (NAJISS), National Body. In this role, he was widely recognized for his discipline, vision, and commitment to representing the interests of Jigawa students across Nigerian tertiary institutions.
