ADSU Mubi VC Leads Delegation on Condolence Visit to SSG Hon. Awwal D. Tukur

The Vice-Chancellor of Adamawa State University, Mubi, Prof. Augustine Clement, has led a delegation of the University to pay a condolence visit to the Secretary to the Government of Adamawa State, Hon. Awwal D. Tukur, over the passing of his father, the late Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, a former Governor of Adamawa State, then Gongola State.

During the visit, Prof. Augustine Clement expressed the University's deep sympathy to Hon. Awwal D. Tukur and the entire Tukur family over the loss of their father and patriarch.

The Vice-Chancellor acknowledged the remarkable contributions of the late Alhaji Bamanga Tukur to the development of Adamawa State and Nigeria at large, noting that his legacy of service and leadership would continue to be remembered.

Prof. Clement further prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased's shortcomings, grant him eternal rest, and give the bereaved family the strength, courage, and fortitude to bear the loss.

Hon. Awwal D. Tukur, who is a former Pro-Chancellor of Adamawa State University, Mubi, expressed his appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor and the University delegation for their visit, solidarity, and prayers at this difficult time.

The visit underscored the strong bond between Adamawa State University, Mubi, and the Tukur family, as the University joined the family in mourning the loss of a respected elder and statesman.
