Ahmad Aisha Rufai Emerges Third Overall Best Graduating Student at ABU Zaria

Ahmad Aisha Rufai has been celebrated as the Third Overall Best Graduating Student of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, during the institution's 2026 Convocation Ceremony.

A standout scholar from the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Aisha achieved a remarkable Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.81, earning her a First Class Honours degree.

Aisha’s achievement places her among the elite academic tier of the 2024/2025 graduating class. Her performance is particularly notable within the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, a discipline known for its rigorous professional and academic standards.

Her success follows closely behind fellow trailblazer Fatima Umar, who emerged as the overall second-best student, highlighting a historic year for female excellence in STEM and Medical Sciences at ABU.
