Akwa Ibom State University to Hold Combined 9th–12th Convocation Ceremony

Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has announced that its 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th combined convocation ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026.  

The event, scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Mini Sports Stadium in Ikot Akpaden, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, will feature the conferment of honorary doctorate degrees, higher degrees, first degrees, and the presentation of prizes to outstanding students.  

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Otoabasi E. Akpan, speaking on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, staff, and students, extended an invitation to graduands, parents, guardians, stakeholders, and members of the public to attend the ceremony.

The Registrar and Secretary to Council, Dr. Ebi G. Eno-Ibanga, emphasized the importance of the occasion, noting it as a milestone in the university’s academic journey.  

The Directorate of Information, Public Relations, and Protocol (DIPRP) encouraged the public to engage with the university’s official Facebook page for updates, reels, and videos related to the convocation.
