Aliko Dangote University Students Protest Termination of Upkeep Payments

Students of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil, have expressed deep concern over the recent termination of upkeep payments by the National Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).

The allowance has been crucial for many students, helping them cover essential expenses such as feeding, transportation, and study materials.

The students, represented by Comrd Ibrahim M Yahaya, Treasurer of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Kano Axis, are urging NELFUND to clear all pending upkeep payments owed to students before considering any termination of the scheme. This, they argue, would demonstrate fairness and allow students to plan ahead.
