Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University has once again demonstrated excellence in technology and innovation by securing 2nd position at the National Inter-Varsity Mechatronics and Systems Engineering Students Competition 1.0.

The university was proudly represented by Habib Muhammed and Samuel Ababras, both 300L and 200L students of Computer and Communication Engineering and Mechatronics and Systems Engineering, respectively, at the competition held on May 7, 2026, at Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta.

The competition focused on cutting-edge technological fields including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, Industry 5.0, and Automation Solutions, bringing together brilliant minds from universities across the country.
