Azman University Delegation Visits Chinese Embassy to Foster Cooperation

A delegation from Azman University, Kano, led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Fatima Batul Mukhtar, paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Abuja on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025.

The delegation was received by Mr. Yang Jianxing, Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Embassy and Director of the China Cultural Center in Nigeria.

The purpose of the visit was to explore opportunities for cooperation in teaching and research between Azman University and Chinese institutions. This move aims to strengthen academic ties and promote mutual understanding between Nigeria and China.

The delegation included other key officials from Azman University, such as Registrar Aminu Ibrahim Lawal, Bursar Ahmed Balarabe, and Business Development Manager Yusuf Issa An-Nuphawi.

 

This visit highlights the growing interest in international collaboration and knowledge sharing between Nigerian and Chinese institutions. By fostering cooperation in education and research, both countries can leverage each other's strengths to drive innovation and development.
