Bowen University Best Graduate Oyebanke Oyetola Shines with Double Excellence

Meet Oyebanke Oyetola, who emerged as the Best Graduating Student in both the Department of Biochemistry and the College of Agriculture, Engineering, and Science at Bowen University, Nigeria.

She graduated with First Class Honours, achieving an outstanding cumulative grade point average of 4.95 out of 5.00 during the 2025 academic session.

Oyebanke shared that her greatest achievement was attaining exceptional academic excellence, an accomplishment born from years of relentless effort, late nights, and unwavering commitment.

Her biggest lesson is that learning is synonymous with growth. Stepping out of her comfort zone and taking on challenges, even when they were difficult, helped her achieve this remarkable milestone.

Beyond the lecture halls, she was deeply committed to service, serving as a Hall Representative, Class Senator, Member of the Editorial Committee, among other roles.

She describes her greatest gift as the people who encouraged her, cheered her on, corrected her, and ensured she stayed on the right path.
