The joint Admission and matriculations Board (JAMB) has Introduced a mock trial for underage students ahead of time for the 2025 unified Tertiary Matriculation examination (UTME) 

In 2024, the ministry of education set a minimum age for students taking jamb and gaining admission into Nigeria Tertiary  institution at 16. The purpose for underage student to sit for the mock trial is to test their knowledge and how prepared they are for the main examination.

The registration process for the 2025 UTME is scheduled to commence on 3rd February, 2025.
