BUK Library and Information Science Conference Committee Pays Courtesy Visit to Azman University

The Local Organising Committee, LOC, of the 1st National Conference, Department of Library and Information Science, Bayero University Kano, BUK, has paid a courtesy visit to Azman University, Kano.

The delegation, led by the LOC Chair, Associate Prof. Binta Faruq Ladan, was warmly received by the Vice Chancellor of Azman University, Prof. Fatima Batul Mukhtar, alongside the University Librarian and other Principal Officers of the University.

The delegation included Dr. Hayatudeen Adamu, HOD, Library and Information Science, BUK; Hajiya Mabaruka Abubakar, College Librarian, Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education; Dr. Auwal Giginyu, Department of Library and Information Science, BUK; and Dr. Aminudeen Abubakar, Department of Library and Information Science, BUK.

The visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to engage, strengthen professional relationships, and explore areas of mutual collaboration in library and information science, research, education, and academic development.
