COELS Nguru Holds Bid Opening for TETFund 2026 Special High Impact Project

The College of Education and Legal Studies (COELS), Nguru, has reached a major developmental milestone with the official bid opening for the TETFund 2026 Special High Impact Project (SHIP).

The event, held at the College Chamber, marks the commencement of a high-priority intervention aimed at transforming the institution’s physical and academic infrastructure.

The 2026 SHIP intervention is a competitive federal grant awarded to only twelve Colleges of Education across Nigeria. For COELS Nguru, the funding is specifically earmarked for two landmark projects:

Construction and Furnishing of a New Administrative Building: Designed to centralize college operations and enhance administrative efficiency.

The School of Law Complex: A dedicated facility to bolster the college’s niche as a premier center for legal and educational studies in the region.

The Provost, Prof. Ali Manzo Usman, expressed profound gratitude to the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) for selecting the College as a beneficiary. He noted that the intervention aligns perfectly with the Federal Government’s commitment to elevating the standards of public tertiary institutions.
