Sa’adu Zungur University Holds Pre-Convocation Lecture Ahead of 8th–10th Combined Ceremony

Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU) successfully hosted its Pre-Convocation Lecture as part of the scheduled activities for the 8th, 9th, and 10th Combined Convocation Ceremony.

The academic event, held at the university's main campus, served as a high-level intellectual precursor to the upcoming grand finale.

The keynote address, titled “Education, Security and Sustainable Development: The Role of Universities in Northern Nigeria,” was delivered by the distinguished Guest Lecturer, Emeritus Professor Abubakar Sani Sambo, OON. 

Professor Sambo provided a rigorous analysis of how higher education institutions must evolve to tackle the interconnected issues of regional security and economic sustainability. His presentation emphasized the university's responsibility as a catalyst for societal stability and long-term development in the North.
