Federal Polytechnic Oko Clinches First Place in ESVARBON 50th Anniversary Quiz Competition

Federal Polytechnic Oko has emerged as the champion of the South East zonal hybrid quiz competition organized by the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON).

The victory, secured on March 24, 2026, marks a significant academic milestone as the institution outperformed all other tertiary institutions in the zone offering Estate Management and Valuation.

Represented by Mr. Nwaneri Gideon Chigozie and Miss Elliot Faith Tonye from the Department of Estate Management, the Federal Polytechnic Oko team demonstrated exceptional command of the field. By clinching the first position, the duo has officially qualified to represent the South East zone at the National Grand Finale scheduled to hold in Lagos on April 8, 2026.

The competition is a key highlight of ESVARBON’s 50th Anniversary celebrations. As the Federal Government-approved regulatory body, ESVARBON is responsible for licensing qualified graduates and regulating the practice of Estate Surveying and Valuation across Nigeria.
