The event, hosted at the University’s Convocation Square, served as the ceremonial commencement of the students' academic journeys and their integration into the institution's scholarly community.

In his keynote address, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sani Ahmed Yauta, congratulated the matriculants while underscoring the dual necessity of academic rigor and moral integrity. He reminded the students that a university degree is a testament to both "learning and character," urging them to remain disciplined and law-abiding throughout their stay.
