FUNATO in the Process of Signing MoU with Maringá University, Brazil

FUNATO is in the process of signing a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, with Maringá University, Brazil, following a collaboration meeting with the institution.

The meeting was attended by Renato Leão Rego, Coordinator of the International Cooperation Office of Maringá University, and was facilitated by Dr. Ibrahim Adesina. Plans are underway to formalize the collaboration through a signed MoU and continued dialogue between both institutions.

The collaboration is expected to benefit students through online courses, exchange programmes, and greater international exposure.

On the research side, the partnership opens up opportunities for joint research, equipment and specimen exchange, staff exchange, access to mineral analysis instruments, and advances in farming technology, livestock genetics, and dairy and beef production.
