Crescent University Alumnus Promoted to Professorial Rank in US University

Professor Yusuf Abidemi Sopeyin, a distinguished alumnus of Crescent University, Abeokuta, has been promoted to the rank of Professor of Economics and Artificial Intelligence at Omniversity Imperial College LCC, Missouri, USA.

Professor Sopeyin's academic journey is notable, having been a recipient of the Bola Ajibola Scholarship for Academic and Moral Excellence, which enabled him to pursue his Master's degree in Jordan. He was also the winner of the Crescent University Proprietor's prize for the best behaved male graduating student at the 2009 convocation.

The Vice Chancellor of Crescent University, Prof. Ibraheem Gbajabiamila, congratulated Professor Sopeyin on behalf of the university community, describing the achievement as a crystallization of the founder's vision and mission. The Registrar, Barr. Zakariyya Ajibola, also recalled Professor Sopeyin's academic excellence as an undergraduate and his receipt of the scholarship alongside other notable alumni.
