Crescent University Bags Prestigious 'Spirit of the Competition' Award at 2026 IBA ICC Moot in The Hague

Crescent University, Abeokuta has won Spirit of the Competition Award at the 2026 International Bar Association- International Criminal Court Moot Competition held in Hague, Netherlands. 

The Team Crescent which comprised students of Bola Ajibola College of Law(BACOLAW) namely: Justus Adeyemi, Fareedah Akinsola, Karamat Lawal, Hadiqah Orisadare and Muhammadgazaal Abudu, chaperoned by Dr Mujeeb Imran, displayed class and quality of moot court knowledge at the international competition. 

The spirit of the competition award honours a team that has demonstrated exceptional commitment and fully embodied the core values of the competition.

While announcing the award winners, the IBA representative stated that the Crescent University team exemplified the "powers of the Moot in bringing passionate students from around the world together and clearly shows that the goal of coming together through our shared commitment to international law is the future in these uncertain times."

Recall that Crescent University BACOLAW undergraduates also recorded a top performance at the 2025 edition of the international competition. 

While receiving the news, the Proprietor and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prince Ma'ruf Adesegun Ajibola commended the student representatives and the lecturer in charge for doing the institution proud, stressing that the instution's investment in quality human and material resources has always yielded desired results.
