Edo State University, Iyamho, a premier institution committed to teaching and research excellence, has announced the availability of partial scholarships for deserving indigent students of Edo State origin who scored a minimum of 180 in the UTME.

Edo State University, Iyamho, a premier institution committed to teaching and research excellence, has announced the availability of partial scholarships for deserving indigent students of Edo State origin who scored a minimum of 180 in the UTME.

The initiative has been approved by the Edo State Governor, His Excellency Senator Monday Okpebholo, and the University Council.

The scholarship, part of the University’s Corporate Social Responsibility, covers tuition fees only for eligible students and is available for up to 100 candidates. Note that programs in Medicine, Nursing, Law, Medical Laboratory Science, and Engineering are excluded from this award.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be of Edo State origin.
  • Minimum UTME score of 180 for the 2025/2026 Admission Exercise.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in written and spoken English, assessed via a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
  • Must provide proof of indigency.
  • Must meet the entry requirements for the chosen course of study.

Application Details:

The University reserves the right not to award scholarships to any candidate if deemed necessary.
