The Head of the Department of Geology, Professor Adeyinka Aturamu, attributed the success to the support of the EKSU Management and the Tunji Olowolafe Foundation (TOF), which sponsored the delegates. He described the conference as an eye-opening opportunity for both staff and students to learn, network, and interact with peers and industry delegates.

EKSU's achievement is a testament to the university's commitment to academic excellence and geoscience education.
