The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has announced the conditions that will apply to students interested in hostel accommodation for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to the university, hostel allocation will be conducted online, and only students who have paid their school fees for the 2026/2027 academic session will be eligible to apply for hostel accommodation.
The following conditions will apply:

Impersonation is strictly prohibited. No student shall use another student's name, registration number or other personal details to obtain hostel allocation.

Hostel racketeering is strictly prohibited. Students are warned against the unauthorised sale, transfer, exchange or trading of hostel spaces or allocations.

Any student found engaging in impersonation, hostel racketeering or any other form of malpractice in the process of obtaining hostel accommodation shall face appropriate disciplinary action in accordance with the University's regulations.
The university stated that the date for the commencement of hostel applications will be communicated to students in due course.
Students are therefore advised to take note of the conditions and await further information from the university regarding the commencement of the application process.
