Founders Fund Africa Opens Applications for $1 Million Creative Economy Accelerator

Members of the Lagos State University (LASU) community, particularly students and entrepreneurs in the creative industry, have been invited to apply for the 2026 Founders Fund Africa, a $1 million Creative Economy Accelerator designed to support founders building innovative and scalable businesses across Africa.

The accelerator is open to entrepreneurs operating in the following sectors:

• Music
• Film and Media
• Design
• Creative Technology

According to the announcement, selected participants will receive funding, mentorship, strategic partnerships, and other business development opportunities aimed at accelerating the growth of their ventures.
