The discussions began when a delegation from Speedlink Hi-Tech Solutions, an IT systems provider and technology innovation hub based in Rumualogu, Port Harcourt, visited the Rector of FPOG, Dr Victor Okolobah, at his office on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
The delegation was led by the company’s Managing Consultant, Dr Daniel Oko, and included its Assistant General Manager, Mr Iwinosa Airende-Okpugie, and Ms Rokaike Igey Jemiema.
During the meeting, both parties explored possible areas of collaboration aimed at improving technology-driven teaching and learning, strengthening administrative effectiveness and enhancing operational efficiency across the polytechnic.
Welcoming the delegation, Okolobah reaffirmed the institution’s willingness to pursue strategic partnerships that could accelerate development, encourage innovation and improve institutional performance.
Founded in 2014, Speedlink Hi-Tech Solutions is a Nigerian IT solutions and systems integration company that serves more than 100 businesses across multiple industries and countries.

The company also operates an ICT hub equipped with co-working spaces, training rooms and rental facilities designed to support technology collaboration, digital skills development and corporate solutions.
The proposed partnership forms part of FPOG’s broader efforts to explore strategic collaborations that could modernise its systems and strengthen its academic and administrative operations.
