FUAMB Mourns Information and Protocol Staff Member, Mr. Simon Cletus Asha

The Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi, FUAMB, is in mourning following the passing of Mr. Simon Cletus Asha, a dedicated staff member of the Information and Protocol Unit.
Mr. Simon died in the evening of Thursday, August 20, 2026, following a brief illness. He was described as a promising, committed, and dependable staff member who served the University with dedication, professionalism, and integrity.
The Vice-Chancellor of FUAMB, Prof. Bitrus Dawi Tarfa, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Senate, staff, and students of the University, extended heartfelt condolences to the Information and Protocol Unit, the family, friends, and associates of the deceased.
“Mr. Simon’s contributions to the University will be fondly remembered, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of working with him,” the statement said.
The University prayed that the Almighty grants him eternal rest, forgives his shortcomings, and grants his immediate family, colleagues, and loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
