FUAMB Mourns Passing of Adamawa Commissioner for Livestock, Prof. David Finchiwa Jatau

The Management of the Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi, FUAMB, has received with deep sorrow the news of the passing of the Honourable Commissioner for Livestock, Adamawa State, Prof. David Finchiwa Jatau. 

The University described the late Commissioner as a distinguished agriculturist, accomplished academic, and dedicated public servant, whose contributions to agriculture and public service were remarkable.

FUAMB noted that his unwavering support for collaboration between the Adamawa State Ministry of Livestock and the University significantly advanced agricultural development and strengthened FUAMB’s growth.

On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Senate, staff, and students, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Bitrus Dawi Tarfa, extends heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Adamawa State, and to the family of the late Prof. Jatau. 

The University prayed that Almighty God will forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, grant him eternal rest, and give his family, colleagues, and all those affected by this great loss the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
