The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has announced the commencement of inter-university transfer applications for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The official notice, signed by the Deputy Registrar I, Senate and Admissions, Dr. Abdussobur Salaam, outlines the eligibility requirements and procedures for interested candidates.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:

  • Be registered students of recognised Nigerian universities with admissions duly approved by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
  • Present an official academic transcript showing a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00 for Agricultural programmes and 3.50 for Engineering and Science programmes on a 5.00-point scale, as at the end of the second semester of their current session.
  • Pay a non-refundable transfer application fee of ₦40,000, inclusive of REMITA charges. Payment commences on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Application Procedure
Interested candidates are required to:

  1. Visit the FUNAAB admissions portal via https://admission.funaab.edu.ng.
  2. Carefully read the inter-university transfer guidelines.
  3. Log in using their JAMB registration number as reflected in their admission letter.
  4. Complete the online application form and print a copy.
  5. Submit the printed form to the Senate and Admissions Unit of the University.

FUNAAB advises applicants to ensure strict compliance with the stated conditions, as incomplete applications will not be considered.
