FUNATO Unveils Seven Shuttle Buses Donated by Okeho Community
A new chapter in campus transportation is set to begin at the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO).
The University has expressed its sincere appreciation to the Okeho Community, under the leadership of the Asiwaju of Okeho Land, Prof. Segun Gbadegesin, for a generous and timely intervention in support of the institution.
The donation of seven shuttle buses was described as a strong demonstration of the Okeho and Oke-Ogun community's commitment to the growth, safety, comfort and overall well-being of FUNATO students and staff.

As FUNATO prepares to welcome a new academic session in late November 2026, with expectations of over 3,200 fresh students, the need for an efficient, accessible and dependable transportation system has become more critical.
The seven buses, painted in the University's colours and branded FUNATO Shuttle, are set to provide organised transportation services, making movement to and from the University easier, safer and more reliable for members of the FUNATO community.
According to the University, the intervention comes at a defining moment in its growth. As the institution expands and prepares to welcome thousands of new students, the continued support and partnership of its host community remain invaluable.
The University noted that the Okeho community has once again shown that the success of FUNATO is a shared responsibility, adding that when the University and its host community work together with a common vision, the possibilities are limitless.
FUNATO sincerely appreciates Prof. Segun Gbadegesin, the Asiwaju of Okeho Land, and the entire Okeho community for the generous contribution and for their confidence in the vision and future of the University.
The University management stated that it does not take the support for granted and expressed hope that the partnership will continue to grow from strength to strength, creating greater opportunities and driving development for FUNATO, its students and staff, and the entire Okeho and Oke-Ogun community.
