NUC Team Visits KHAIRUN For Nursing Science Accreditation, Commends Pioneer VC

The Vice-Chancellor of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University (KHAIRUN), Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, on Wednesday received a National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation team for the university's Nursing Science programme.

The team, which was received by the Vice-Chancellor and principal officers of the university, is in KHAIRUN for the accreditation exercise.

Speaking during the courtesy visit, the Team Lead congratulated Prof. Garba for his role as the pioneer Vice-Chancellor and commended the progress recorded since the establishment of the institution.

He clarified that the visit was not to witch-hunt the university but to objectively assess facilities, staffing, academic resources and other requirements for the Nursing Science programme, with a view to offering constructive recommendations where necessary.

In his response, Prof. Garba welcomed the team and appreciated their visit, wishing them a successful exercise and safe return to their destinations. He briefed the team on the vision and mission of the Founder, Sheikh Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu, and reiterated the university's commitment to producing academically sound and morally upright graduates.

The university expressed readiness to cooperate fully with the team throughout the exercise in line with its commitment to academic standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
