MDCN Conducts Advisory Visit To Al-Istiqama University For MBBS Programme

Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila (AUSU), on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, hosted an advisory visit team from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) for its MBBS programme.

The team, led by the Registrar of the Council, toured facilities at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences and interacted with management and staff.

At the end of the visit, the team expressed satisfaction with the facilities on ground.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulhadi Sale Kumurya, thanked the Council for the visit and guidance, reaffirming the university's commitment to the highest standards in medical education and to producing competent, ethical and patriotic healthcare professionals for Nigeria.

He appreciated the MDCN team, staff and partners whose efforts contributed to the successful exercise.
