The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has issued a public disclaimer warning members of the public against fraudulent social media accounts falsely claiming to represent the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adenike Temidayo Oladiji.

According to the institution, the circulating Facebook account, along with similar cloned profiles, does not belong to the Vice-Chancellor and should be disregarded in its entirety.

The University cautioned that any interaction, engagement, or financial transaction carried out through such impersonated accounts is entirely at the risk of individuals involved, and neither the Vice-Chancellor nor FUTA will accept responsibility for any resulting losses or consequences.
