FUTES-IYIN Announces 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Guidelines and Admission Requirements

Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti (FUTES-IYIN) has officially released details for its 2026/2027 admission exercise, notifying candidates that Post-UTME screening has commenced and all admissions will be processed through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

The university outlined strict eligibility criteria and application procedures for prospective candidates seeking admission into various undergraduate programmes.

Admission Requirements and Conditions:

1. Candidates must have attained a minimum age of 16 years by September 30, 2026.
2. Candidates must have sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
3. Minimum UTME score for eligibility is 160, while some programmes require 180. Candidates scoring below 160 are not eligible.
4. Candidates must possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics in WASSCE, NECO, or NABTEB, or six credits at not more than two sittings.
5. Candidates wishing to change institution to FUTES-IYIN must do so via the JAMB website.
6. Applicants are required to visit https://portal.futes.edu.ng/apply and follow all registration instructions carefully.
7. Candidates not initially selecting FUTES-IYIN as first choice may apply under the “OTHER” option but must complete a Change of Institution on JAMB CAPS before closure of registration.
8. Direct Entry candidates must also apply for Post-UTME screening and ensure their transcripts are forwarded to the Registrar on or before September 30, 2026.
9. Direct Entry applicants must possess at least Upper Credit in National Diploma or A’Level passes in three relevant subjects.
10. Applicants are required to pay a ₦2,000 Post-UTME screening fee and ₦3,000 portal access fee via REMITA.

Method of Application:

• Candidates must have five (5) O’Level credits including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings.
• A valid email address is required for registration and activation.
• Activation links will be sent via email and must be confirmed within 48 hours or accounts will be deleted automatically.
• Applicants must upload a passport photograph not exceeding 100KB, which cannot be changed after submission.
• Candidates are responsible for accurate information submission.
• Support services are available for portal-related issues.
