The Provost of Galtima Mai Kyari College of Health Sciences and Technology, Nguru, Dr. Garba Ibrahim Turjiman, MBBS, FWACS, has expressed delight over the ongoing infrastructural transformation taking place in the institution, describing it as a significant milestone in the College's quest to provide quality education and a conducive learning environment.

Construction of a 500-capacity Theatre Hall, generously donated by the Yobe State Government under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, COMN, Chiroman Gujba, is currently ongoing within the College.

In another major development, the Provost received a delegation from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) and its team of engineers for the commencement of a 500-capacity ICT Complex project. The modern facility will consist of ICT laboratories, administrative offices, a spacious car park, and complete furnishing upon completion.

As part of the preliminary activities, the engineers conducted soil tests and other technical site investigations in preparation for the commencement of construction, which is expected to begin next week. The project is expected to be completed within nine (9) months.

The Provost personally monitored the activities and commended the TETFund delegation and the engineers for their professionalism and commitment to ensuring the successful execution of the project.

He further expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, COMN, Chiroman Gujba, for his unwavering commitment to the development of education through the construction of the 500-capacity Theatre Hall. He also thanked TETFund for approving and funding the ICT Complex, describing both interventions as landmark achievements that will greatly improve teaching, learning, research, and ICT development in the institution.

The Provost reaffirmed the commitment of the College Management to ensuring the successful completion and proper utilization of the projects for the benefit of students, staff, and future generations.
