Gombe State Government Partners with GSU to Enhance Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness

The Gombe State Government has partnered with Gombe State University (GSU) to strengthen fire safety and emergency preparedness measures on campus.

This collaboration follows a recent fire incident at the university, prompting Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya to direct an immediate safety assessment and formulation of preventive measures.

The Honourable Commissioner assured the university management of the state government's full support in enhancing fire safety and emergency systems. Both parties expressed optimism that the initiative would strengthen the institution's resilience against fire outbreaks and guarantee a safer environment for learning, teaching, and research.
