Gombe State University Opens 2025/2026 Registration Portal; Emphasizes Timely O'Level Verification

Gombe State University (GSU) has officially commenced student registration for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, effective February 4, 2026.

The announcement, released by the Office of the Registrar, informs all students, parents, and guardians that the registration portal is now active for both fresh and returning students, with specific guidelines issued for a smooth process.

Students are required to access the online portal using distinct credentials based on their status:

Students are strongly advised to change their default passwords immediately upon their first login for security purposes.

The university administration has stressed a critical prerequisite for fresh students:

Only fresh students who have successfully verified their O’Level results will be permitted to complete the full registration process.

Those who have not completed the verification process are instructed to do so immediately via the dedicated verification portal: verifyoilevel.gsu.edu.ng. Failure to comply will block access to the main registration system.

The university administration, speaking through the Academic Secretary, Musa Sarki (For: Registrar), urged all students to complete their registration promptly in accordance with university guidelines. Parents and guardians are kindly requested to provide the necessary support to ensure timely compliance.

Failure to register within the stipulated period will attract late registration fees as provided by the University regulations.
