Governor Bago Fulfils Promise to Hafiza Maimuna Badegi, Presents Toyota Car, N5 Million and Hajj Slot

Governor Umar Muhammad Bago has fulfilled his promise to Hafiza Maimuna Hussaini Badegi with the presentation of a brand-new Toyota car, N5 million cash gift and a Hajj slot.

The gifts were presented on behalf of the Governor by the Director General, Bureau for Religious Affairs, Niger State, Sheikh Dr. Umar Faruk Abdullahi, at the Bureau’s office.

Also present was the Coordinator to the Governor on Islamiyyah Schools, NISIS, Ustaz Abdullah Arab Yabagi, who commended Governor Bago for his continued support and commitment to the advancement of Qur’anic and Islamiyyah education across Niger State.

Hafiza Maimuna Hussaini Badegi is an accomplished Qur’anic memorizer who previously represented Nigeria at an international Qur’anic competition in Senegal, where she emerged second position.

While receiving the gifts, Hafiza Maimuna expressed her heartfelt appreciation to Governor Bago for keeping his promise. She prayed that Allah, SWT, continues to protect, guide and grant him wisdom and success in the leadership of Niger State.

Stakeholders described the gesture as another major encouragement to Qur’anic education and a motivation for young students to remain dedicated, disciplined and committed to memorizing and understanding the Holy Qur’an.

Other dignitaries at the presentation included Dr. Lawu Hassan, Directors, Secretaries and representatives of agencies under the Niger State Bureau for Religious Affairs.
