The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, received Ambassador Seyi Idowu, Global President of the Ekiti State University (EKSU) Alumni Association, at his office in Ado-Ekiti to deliberate on the advancement and development of the University.

The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, received Ambassador Seyi Idowu, Global President of the Ekiti State University (EKSU) Alumni Association, at his office in Ado-Ekiti to deliberate on the advancement and development of the University.

According to Adetunji Aribasoye, Global PRO of the EKSU Alumni Association, Governor Oyebanji reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the University, stressing his dual role as both an alumnus and a partner in progress. He assured the Alumni leadership that his administration would continue to prioritize initiatives that strengthen EKSU’s academic and institutional growth.

The meeting also focused on preparations for the 2025 Global Alumni Convention and the planned induction into the EKSU Alumni Hall of Fame, two flagship events on the Association’s calendar. Ambassador Idowu formally presented the invitation for the Convention to the Governor.

Governor Oyebanji expressed appreciation to the Alumni Association for its continuous support and engagement, praising the body’s initiatives in advancing the University’s mission.
